Utah

State with Diverse Landscapes

What to Expect

Getting around- In my opinion the best way to travel around Utah is road tripping. Rental cars and camper vans are the best options. Utah has many different camp sites for a camper van, therefore it is easy to immerse yourself in the nature.

National Parks- Utah has to be the best state for National Parks. Utah has five national parks: Arches, Capitol Reef, Bryce, Canyonlands, and Zion. Having been to three of the five, I must say these national parks are extremely beautiful and diverse. If you plan to visit all of the national parks in Utah, it would be beneficial to purchase the America the Beautiful pass. This will save you money for access to the national parks.

Best time to Visit

The best time to visit Utah would be during the winter, spring, and fall months. Utah has extreme heat temperatures during the summer and would make it uncomfortable to visit. Winter in Utah is also opposite of summer and does experience snow and low temperatures.

Must Do Activities

Hiking- The national parks in Utah provide great hiking trails and scenery. Best hikes in my opinion are The Narrows in Zion national park and the Delicate Arch in Arches national park. There are many hiking options throughout Utah, something for all activity levels.

Hot Springs- Utah is home to quite a few different hot springs- manmade and natural. I personally have not been to any hot springs besides the Mystic Hot Springs. Although next time I am in Utah, I will definitely incorporate more hot springs. Highly recommend visiting Mystic Hot Springs for a unique experience and to enjoy the sunset.

Road-trip- As I have stated above, Utah is great for camper vans and as there is a lot to see, it is great for a road trip. While driving through Utah it feels as if one second you are on Mars and the next you’re in lush green landscapes. Everywhere you look will awe you and entice you to explore more of the state.

Skiing/Snowboarding- The best winter activity to do in Utah would be skiing in Salt Lake City. If you are not scared of cold and snow, then definitely check out the slopes here!
